DELBURY HALL GARDENS
Herefordshire Wedding Photographer
Delbury Hall Gardens are the perfect backdrop for a classic country house wedding. Situated in Shropshire and close to the Herefordshire border. The house is surrounded by 80 acres of landscaped parkland and faces south across the water meadows towards Ludlow, eight miles away. Situated in beautiful Corvedale, between Much Wenlock and Ludlow, the Clee Hills and Wenlock Edge provide a picturesque backdrop. If you are looking for a Herefordshire wedding photographer, it may even be the perfect spot for you!
Delbury Hall is the most beautiful and imposing Georgian mansion in Shropshire, the perfect venue for a classic country house wedding. It is so picturesque with the beautiful reflective lake, the pagoda and the lovely walled flower garden.
In the warmer months you can have an outdoor wedding ceremony. At Delbury Hall, civil ceremonies can take place underneath the Pagoda, set on the sweeping, south-facing lawn with views across the lake to the main house and over surrounding countryside. While amongst acres of beautiful scenery, the walled lawn also offers a sense of seclusion and intimacy – perfect for a wedding ceremony.
Colin and Laura met when they were 18 and have been best friends ever since. There wedding was a warm gathering of their close friends and family, at the local church St Peter’s in Diddlebury situated just at the end of the garden. An amble along a short pathway to the side of the main house takes you straight to this stunning Saxo-Norman church, almost as if Delbury Hall had been purposely built as a venue for guests to celebrate following a wedding ceremony! It was a stunning day for their reception at the coach house.
After the ceremony we utilised Delbury Hall Gardens, including the wonderful walled garden. Laura and Colin were relaxed and at ease with each other and I was able to capture some of the traditional group shots they wanted, but also some more lovely informal couple shots.
