WALCOT HALL WEDDING

Beautiful Shropshire venues for summer weddings – Walcot hall weddings in Lydbury North, Shropshire are simply stunning. Walcot Hall is considered to be one of the top wedding venues in Shropshire. Lucinda Parish lives at the hall with her husband Robin and their four rapidly growing children: Arthur, George, Nancy and Edward. Robin has always lived at Walcot since his parents bought the hall ion 1957.

I know that your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life which is why Walcot Hall work hard to make your time memorable, magical and above all, unique. Through their friendly and flexible approach, they work alongside you through the wedding planning process.

My job as a wedding photographer in Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales means I have been lucky to shoot some beautiful weddings this summer at countryside homes with fabulous marquees and some gorgeous wedding venues across these regions.

Katie Goodwin Self and Jonathan Sharpe live in London but have family in Shropshire and so they chose the fabulous Walcot Hall in Lydbury North, near Bishops Castle in south Shropshire. With its turquoise freestanding ballroom, characterful accommodation and eclectic furnishings, it really is a feast for the eyes and perfect for unique wedding ideas, which lend themselves beautifully to stunning wedding photographs.

The 30 acres of grounds, including one of the finest arboretums in Britain, offer a wide variety of panoramas, floral displays and garden features including the extensive lake, walled courtyard, unusual statues and fountain. The Ballroom can be hired for up to 48 hours for an exclusive wedding reception and along with our holiday cottages and glamping, Walcot can be transformed into your very own wedding village to accommodate all your close friends and family. You would be hard-pressed to find a more stunning location for a summer wedding.
